Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Product-Specific Guidelines

Mushroom Products & Tinctures

  • Fresh mushrooms and other perishable products cannot be returned due to their nature
  • Sealed tinctures and extracts must be unopened and in their original packaging to be eligible for return
  • Dried mushroom products must be unopened and in their original sealed packaging

Farming Supplies

  • Growing equipment (including but not limited to: humidity controllers, heating mats, and fans) must be unused and in original packaging
  • Substrate materials and growing media cannot be returned once opened due to contamination risks
  • Unused and sealed substrate bags may be returned within 30 days
  • Spores and liquid culture syringes are non-returnable due to their sensitive nature
  • Tools and equipment must be in original condition with all parts included

Non-Returnable Items

  • Fresh mushrooms and other perishable goods
  • Opened substrate materials
  • Used growing equipment that has been exposed to moisture or spores
  • Spores and cultures
  • Custom-made or special-order items
  • Gift cards
  • Digital growing guides and downloadable resources
  • Personal care items (including medicinal mushroom products) once opened

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received it
  • In its original, sealed packaging
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
  • Free from any contamination or exposure to moisture

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued for:

  • Growing equipment with signs of use or moisture exposure
  • Incomplete growing kits with missing components
  • Items returned beyond 15 days but within 30 days
  • Products with damaged packaging but intact contents

Refund Process

  1. Once we receive your return, our quality control team will inspect the item
  2. We’ll email you about the status of your refund request
  3. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  4. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

Refund Timing

  • Credit card refunds: 5-7 business days
  • Bank transfers: 3-5 business days
  • Store credit: Immediate upon approval

Exchanges

We only offer exchanges for:

  • Defective growing equipment
  • Damaged non-perishable items
  • Incorrect items received

Gift Returns

  • Gift recipients will receive store credit equal to the item’s purchase value
  • Gift returns require original order information or gift receipt
  • Store credit will be issued via email
  • The original purchaser will not be notified of gift returns

Important Shipping Notes:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend tracking for items valued over $50
  • Insurance is recommended for growing equipment returns
  • Package items securely to prevent damage
  • For substrate and growing materials, ensure packaging is sealed to prevent contamination

Sale Items & Special Orders

  • Regular-priced items only may be refunded
  • Clearance items are final sale
  • Custom substrate blends and special orders cannot be returned
  • Seasonal growing kit sales are final
